1. Job Summary:
Process development to support new product launch;
New Product introduction from R&D to factory
Process develop to support cost saving/quality improvement etc.
Occasional overseas travel may be required.
Coaching junior engineer.
2. Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with R&D personnel to introduce new products into manufacturing;
2. Research, develop, and recommend process improvements to improve quality, output, and product performance on both new product and mature product;
3. Initiates and implements cost reduction ideas, product changes and redesigned products; issues appropriate specifications and coordinates special feasibility projects.
4. Assists Marketing and Quality Assurance in solving customer complaints regarding product problems.
5. Trains subcontract manufactures on new products, production methods, and equipment. Also provides guidance and training to new & inexperienced engineers.
6. Utilize six sigma methods to measure and propose process improvements Provide basic instruction on six sigma methods to appropriate personnel
7. Occasional travel is required to our subcontract manufacturers both locally and overseas.
3. Requirement:
- Major: Material/Mechanical/Electronics
- Working Experience:
Process engineering(new technology development is prefer) background
Semiconductor Assembly experience(BGA/Flip chip package experience is prefer)
Strong AutoCAD software skill
7 years +
Good English Oral
SMT or PCB MFG experience is plus
Project Management experience is plus
