Our client is A well-established multinational computer component manufacturer, with head office in Hong Kong, factories in China, Thailand and Malaysia and liaison offices in the USA, Singapore and Thailand. Due to the fast growth of our business, we are inviting high calibre and diligent candidates for the following position :

Responsibilities:

• Head the New Program management Team.

• New Program Metric Management Focal Person for new products.

• Function as leader in Ramp Readiness Review meeting with Customers.

• Review Program milestones.

• Participate in quotation and cost model review.

• To drive New Product Time to quality, Time to Market, Time to Volume Goals.

• Driving force on resolving customers complaint with respect to New Products.

• Collaborate with Customers' design center to identify and develop for NPI.

• Meet factory routine operation engineering technical support requirement in terms of Process, equipment and facility.

• Ensure document and system establishment and implementation to effect control of parts and operations quality consistency. 

• Institute continuous improvement activities to improve Yield, output and reduce scrap and operating cost.

• Plan and execute new layout for added process and equipment.

• Plan for engineering equipment, tooling, manpower capacity to fulfill build and shipment requirement.

• Setup new product line, process, equipment, complete training within qualification timeline.

• Institute system and cost improvement via Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to better factory operating efficiency

• Ensure than resources in Engineering are adequately planned and that appropriate training is conducted to ensure correct job skill in designated engineering roles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical /Electrical/Electronics/Chemical Engineering

• Minimum 8 years working experience in HDD industry

• Has experience in a dynamic electronics product development environment

• Strong foundation of electronics fundamental and principles

• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin

• Independent, mature and hands on leadership management style

• Team player with ability to multi-task

• Familiarity of six sigma problem solving tools will be an added advantage

• Program or NPI Management experiences preferred

• To be stationed in Wuxi, China
