Job Purpose:

Responsible for assured supply, quality improvement, cost management control, safety management, playing leading role in developing company’s future by actively participating client’s top management team’s activities, so that the company can achieve its production quality, quantity and profitability objectives.

Goals and Objectives:

  • To assure supply to customers.
  • To implement quality systems to achieve 2.5 above cutting scores.
  • To develop supply chain management system to assure low cost/ best value.
  • To assure yield, efficiency, labor utilization and plant expenses meet budget.
  • To assure no major people and equipment safety accidents.

Reporting Relationships:

  • Reports to Group General Manager
  • Has around 6 subordinates depending on the operation size.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and direct the overall plant operation functions including plant production, product quality, engineering, HR, and Finance etc.
  • Assure supply to the customer in terms of continuous availability of finish good products, review and analysis of capacity optimization, development of raw material suppliers.
  • Have a validated contingency plan in place and agree to meet customer expectation.
  • Continuously improve safety, cost and sensory aspects of plant operations by developing SOPs for all processes and spearheading the plant quality management system.
  • Manage financial aspects of production in terms of inventory management, maintenance and machine down time, headcounts for direct labor, sanitation, logistic and plant A & A.
  • Meet planned budget level on travel, product loss and operating supplies and to show continuous improvement trend and implementation of systems in these areas.
  • Manage plant quality function in accordance with customer’s guidelines and deliver quality results consistently.
  • Ensure the safety of all plant personnel with the goal of zero accidents, and working environment compliance with local regulations. 
  • Develop and coach department managers.
  • Effectively complete major projects assigned to support company’s key projects.

Key Technical Skill and Knowledge:

  • College degree in food science and related fields with 5-year experience in supervisory post in production and QA area in similar size operations.
  • Good administrative ability & coordinative ability.
  • Be familiar with the production management in food industry.
  • High in leadership.
